If you're staying in or near Alanya and can find a flight that works, it's hard to beat for getting to your hotel quickly after a long travel day.

The catch: Gazipaşa is a smaller airport with fewer flights. Direct UK routes are limited and often seasonal, so you may not find a convenient option — or it may cost more than flying to Antalya.

Antalya (AYT): more flights, longer transfer

Antalya is one of Turkey's busiest airports, with a huge range of flights from across the UK, frequent departures and competitive fares. The downside is distance: it's west of Alanya, so you're looking at around 125 km and a transfer of 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and your exact resort.
