Shopping Malls in Alanya: Alanyum, Neva & More

When you want fixed prices, international brands and air-conditioned comfort — no haggling required — Alanya's shopping malls deliver. They're great for a hot afternoon, a proper retail fix, or picking up something specific, with everything from fashion and electronics to supermarkets, food courts and cinemas. Here's a guide to the main malls, what each is good for, and how to get there (plus a money-saving tip if it's really just the food you're after).

The main malls

Alanyum

The biggest and best-known, on the D-400 main road. Over 50 Turkish and international brands, a Carrefour supermarket at the entrance (great for fresh food, sweets and supplies), a food court, cinema and a children's play area. If you're going to one mall, this is the all-rounder. Open daily, roughly 9:30am–10pm.

Neva Outlet

Right opposite Alanyum, Neva Outlet is the place for discounted brands — names like Adidas, Koton, Only, Jack & Jones and US Polo at outlet prices. Worth a look alongside Alanyum since they're across the road from each other.

Time Center

A more family-oriented mall with local and international brands, sweets, souvenirs and a big selection of toys — handy if you're shopping with children.

Mall of Alanya

A newer addition to the city's mall scene, adding more choice for brand and lifestyle shopping. Like the others, it's fixed-price and comfortable, with food and leisure alongside the shops.

Malls vs bazaars: which when?

  • Malls: fixed prices, known brands, comfort, air-con, food courts — easy and predictable, no haggling.
  • Bazaars & markets: atmosphere, bargains, souvenirs, "genuine fakes" — haggling and cash. See market days and how to haggle.

Most visitors enjoy a bit of both — the buzz of the bazaar and the comfort of the mall.

Getting there

The malls sit along the main road and are reachable by dolmuş, bus or taxi from the resorts. Worth knowing: a taxi from the resort areas there and back can be around €20 or more, so factor that into a trip — especially if you're only popping out for a quick bite or a couple of items.

Just want the food, not the trip?

Here's a useful tip. The malls have food courts with familiar fast food and chains (think McDonald's, Burger King and the like) — but if it's only the food you're after, a €20+ taxi each way makes it an expensive burger. Instead, you can have the same familiar fast food delivered straight to your hotel, commission-free, through us — no taxi, no trek, no markup. See our delivery service. Save the mall trip for when you actually want to shop.

A few mall tips

  • Fixed prices — no haggling; what's on the tag is the price.
  • Cards widely accepted, though paying in lira is still best value where you have the choice.
  • Great in the heat — air-conditioned escape on a scorching afternoon.
  • Supermarkets inside (like Carrefour at Alanyum) are handy for self-caterers.
  • Tax-free shopping may be available in some stores — see tax-free & taking goods home.

How do I get to the malls?
By dolmuş, bus or taxi from the resorts. A taxi there and back can cost around €20 or more, so factor that in, especially for a quick bite or a few items.
